I binge listened to it in the better part of a week. Ostium is a world, for all of its unpredictability and danger, that I would actually want to visit if it really existed. Plus, it looks like all the weirdness and plot threads are actually coming together. It feels like there's an actual plan for how this will end, as opposed to some other stories that either pulled something out of nowhere or meandered to the point where no questions were ever actually answered. This small, but passionate crew handles storycraft and worldbuilding well enough to go toe to toe with the bigger audiodramas. I've started quite a few podcasts with long story arcs, but rarely commit long enough to listen through to the end. With Ostium, I eagerly await next season.
— Page ChaseOstium is a somewhat mind bending story with a dark overtime that is hard to resist. Give it a chance, and you will not be disappointed. Ostium is almost like a combination of a nightmare and a dream. This podcast has a hypnotic element that really draws you in.
— McMainJust when you think you know what's going on, there's a new twist. When explaining it to others, I say, "if you were a fan of Lost, then you'll like Ostium." It's a story that has you expecting it to go somewhere, and then shows you a completely new and unexected perspective. The style appeals to my own internal dialog way of telling a story. This is as much about "what" is going on as it is "why." At least if you let it be.
